Service terrible
Although the old ladies working there, we’re watching us the entire time, everything that we ordered was absolutely delicious and quite tasty. We ordered a vegetable dish, meat and vegetables dish, fried rice, dim sum, and soup dumplings. Everything was amazing! It’s also a bit off the Main Street so it’s less crowded and people aren’t trying to sell the restaurant to you.
This is my second time and I love it. Always leave feeling full and content but wanting more. The dumplings are great even the frayed dumplings are great even tho it's kinda Japanese to fry dumplings.Yes, the service is not great or by any western standards good. I guess I don't mind it because I kind of got used to it.
Very tasty dumplings. When it's busy it can get crowded very quickly and the service is rushed. Keep that in mind when you come in at peak hours. They encourage you to eat and go rather than stick around longer than you need to (they even tell you that you can't order food again after your first order so that others waiting outside can come in and eat). With that said, the dumplings are really good and it's worth the rushed service and the wait in line. Be careful to not order too much, then portions are a bit larger than you would expect. The dumplings are also heavier than the standard Japanese Gyoza.
A dumpling that has a skin that is sticky and that overflows with gravy as soon as you bite it. I came out enough to fill my stomach for 800 yen per plate, and I thought I brought it for two people even though I ordered it for one person. He is also a Michelin Bib Gourmand.it's recommended.

Great dumpings! good price and not bad service :)
As a Chinese I think the dishes really really normal or not taste even looking well. As a person who used to eat Japanese food I think the dishes taste too salty.
I went to Yokohama Chinatown with my bride to eat early dinner on Sunday. Park your car in the coin parkingAt 15:30, two people visited. I was guided to the table on the first floor. I looked at the menu and ate water gyoza at the second store before, so I chose fried gyoza this time.orderGrilled gyoza 800 yen + fried shrimp chili sauce 1500 yen + XO soy fried rice 800 yen + watered Takayama tea 300 yen x 2 Total 4500 yen excluding tax.A shop that has also been featured on Michelin Bil Gourmand. Grilled gyoza is delicious.Contains thick skin and bean paste. It is rare with coconut. It seems that coconut powder is also contained in the tabletop seasoning gyoza sauce, and this gyoza sauce is delicious. It was a grilled gyoza that responded to eating. Shrimp chili and fried rice were also delicious. Thank you for the meal.
This is a gem of a place nestled in a dark back alley of Chinatown. They whip up some excellent dim sum for those of you with a hankern' for Chinese dumplings. Everything was fast and high quality, and prices are reasonable. Seating is very tight, so don't plan on having a big party here.
Cold weather outside and inside. Food was average.
This place is famous for its dumplings but the taste is average at best although there's lots of meat. The sauce is too salty and seems like a regular mix of soy sauce and vinegar. But what's unacceptable is the service as the staff had terrible attitudes. We got our food after people who ordered later and it was the same dish. We also got our bill before the food which is unheard of in Japan. Customers were chatting away on this so it's almost unanimous.
'Oops - was supposed to be a review for the other Shandong which is round the corner and excellent! Do not see a button to delete this so just giving a medium review
The dumpling is nice. But I ended up getting food after 1 hour. I don't know what happened nor they just didn't want to give me explanation. They just keep saying it's coming. Ended up people who came after me, finished up the food and left. I was very dumbfounded.
2 stars for service but 4 stars for flavor. Seems like quite the popular location for casual local groups. Price was a little higher than we've had in other restaurants, coming out to around ¥5000 for 2 with 4 plates and one drink, but it was definitely satisfying and an interesting change of pace from standard Japanese fare. We did have to take about half of the food home since the portions were a bit larger than expected. Also the closing time Friday night was 10pm contrary to the midnight that google has it listed as. Last order was at 9:30pm.
Bad service, very average food, no taste, quiet expensive. Go away...
Nice place
delicious!
We went for lunch, never going back. There were empty tables on the second floor but they asked us to share a table on the third. During lunch I spilled a bit of soysauce on my clothes and they refused to give us a bit of soap or whatever to dilute the stain. The worst part is that we both have diarrhea (ate nothing after)... worst service and not worth it. They should have sanitary check ups.
Speaking of delicious water dumplings is here. My friend suggested that "water dumplings are delicious!" (I wondered why the water dumplings are delicious?), But it was enough to try them. When the thick skin is opened in the mouth, it is an orthodox full of juicy juice, but it is a very delicious water dumpling. In addition, the soy sauce sauce using coconut is messy and delicious. This combination is great. Because the amount of one dish is large, 3-4 people can enjoy enough.
Very good.
Kinda expensive, the seafood ramen came with lots of shrimps, it was good.
They only have Japanese menu, no English or Chinese menu (hilarious as this is chinatown). You would have to order by pictures.Wonton soup came quickly but the dumplings came 15 mins later. Dumplings are full size and heavier than gyoza. Food was ok. Bathroom is clean. Cash only.
Excellent
The dumplings are so big and juicy.I recommend boiled dumpling especially.
